A City Council That Works
As an attorney, I have learned the value of listening to my clients and researching to determine the best way forward for them. As City Councilor, my main responsibility will be to be available to hear your concerns and deliver results. I am committed to having weekly office hours available to the public across the entire district. Whether you agree or disagree with me, I will always explain why I've made a particular decision and I will always pick up the phone.
I am running for City Council because I believe Boston deserves a Council prepared to work collaboratively, bridge divides, and build consensus to move Boston forwards as one.
As an attorney, it never benefited my client to engage in personal arguments with opposing counsel. Rather than get bogged down in a food fight, my focus has been to deliver tangible results for my client. That is exactly what I will do as your City Councilor.
As a youth soccer coach, I teach my players the value of teamwork and sportsmanship. On the Boston City Council, there may be a close vote on a contentious issue, but I will focus on the facts and advocate for the policy that benefits you and I will never devolve into personal insults or attacks. I believe that as an elected official it would be my responsibility to disagree agreeably.
