For Our Workers

I have spent my career as a worker’s rights attorney fighting for those who too often don’t have a voice in their workplace.

I started out my career representing migrant farm workers in the South, driving farm to farm to speak with workers about their rights and filing federal lawsuits on their behalf. Here in Boston, I have fought for delivery drivers, nurses, firefighters, waiters, Uber drivers, and more to ensure they are classified properly, that they receive their full wages, and are free from workplace discrimination.

I will fight to institute compliance units which will go to worksites around the city to ensure that workers are being paid properly, that workers are properly classified, and to ensure workplace safety rules are being enforced. I will fight for a new wage theft ordinance and to disbar dishonest contractors who undercut honest business owners here in Boston and make it easier for workers to recover stolen wages.

I am proud to have the endorsement of 14 unions, who know that I am the best candidate to enforce our existing labor laws and to ensure that honest small business owners can be on a level playing field.
